Le ragioni di questo volume sono tutte inscritte nella missione che ha il Parco della Val d’Orcia: essere strumento di tutela attiva non solo dell’ecosistema, ma del territorio nella sua più completa e amplia accezione dove l’uomo è protagonista del divenire dei luoghi e dei fatti.

The reasons for this volume are all inscribed in the mission that has the park of the Val D’orcia: to be an instrument of active protection not only of the ecosystem, but of the territory in its most complete and enlarged sense where man is the protagonist of the becoming of the places and of the facts.
